McIntosh Run singletrack

Halifax, Nova Scotia

A little about the riding

The McIntosh Run Watershed Association says it builds and maintains the McIntosh Run singletrack trail system, 27 kilometres of natural-surface trails for mountain biking and other non-motorized use, a few kilometres from downtown Halifax between Spryfield and Herring Cove. Recommended parking is at Hartlen Park, 25 Lois Lane, at the start of Clark Kent. The page tells new riders to stay on green trails and to start with Clark Kent, then Orange Jelly. YIMBY opened in August 2025. The page does not describe a lift. This is a trail network, not a lift-served resort. The crusher-dust McIntosh Run Community Trail is a separate Halifax path and is not this network.
